LOKI

GRYPHON

KIMBER

I first saw Odin (he was Mr. Uno then) in a little metal cage at Petsmart and he came right up to the door and reached a paw out to me. I thought I needed another blue point Siamese like Loki. And, since he has only one eye, of course, he'd be Odin. Needless to say, within minutes, I was calling the adoption agency. I refer to the pair as my Viking Meezers

Loki is named after the Norse God of Mischief and Trickery and he lives up to his namesake quite well. He's my bad boy, never mind those sweet, innocent blue eyes. He's a terror. And LOUD! He'd been returned to the adoption agency several time before he found his forever home with me, so he's got a few emotional problems.

ODIN

Gryphon is the model for Jumper in The Dragon's Bidding series and he's every bit as snarky, but thank goodness he's not telepathic. As it is, he keeps me in line when I'm writing. He's another in the long line of Manx cats I've had. I really believe that when they didn't get a tail, the Great Paw in the Sky gave them an extra dose of personality.

Kimber is the only Lady Cat in the household and she rules the roost, even if she's a mere eight pounds, not counting all her fur. She a Cymric--a long haired Manx. She was kind enough to lend me her name for the heroine of The Dragon's Bidding.
